Ford Transit Trail and Active Media Launch

My role in the media launch of the Ford Transit Trail and Active vehicles was to design the overall visual identity used throughout the event and its associated materials.

To establish a connection with the previous Transit event I had designed, while
also giving it a distinct personality and style, I opted for the chevron shape, which remained highly relevant in the context of Transit. I adapted the chevron to create visuals that conveyed the message of how the new Transits were utilised, including mountain terrain driving, various lifestyle activities (such as biking, canoeing, and camping), and relocating. Additionally, I developed textures inspired by elements found on the Transits themselves, including the grille, metal grip flooring, and tire marks.

In response to COVID-19 restrictions, the event had to be scaled down compared to the previous one and needed to be portable for travel across Europe. This challenge encouraged me to explore the practicality of my creative concepts.
